You are totally spot on, there are still some very archaic opinions flying around about relationships these days. Regardless of whether it’s m/f, m/m or f/f, there is no ‘right’ in an adult being in a relationship with a school aged child. It’s just disturbing.

I find it baffling. I’d like to add, if it were a 14 year old boy and a 20 year old man there would be uproar from these very same idiots saying “Good on ya, kid” about an older girlfriend. To me it’s no different – totally unacceptable.
