Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials! I bet your big dress looks amazing.
As long as you feel amazing and happy that’s what is important.

I feel so daft making a ‘deal’ of it but I can’t change how I feel. I want that feeling of completion 🙂

I completely understand!! I am finally getting married after bugging my ‘partner’ for the best part of ten years. We are getting married in a August. He doesn’t want to do it and has had nothing to do with the organisation of it but my reasons are the same as you. I am 36 and have never been married and my two children don’t have my name. I have bought the ‘big’ dress but think I may be too old. I hope you get what you want. Believe me, everything you have written, I have felt too. X
