Summer Wedding Guest Outfit Ideas 2018
This is a collaboration.
If you are lucky, you will have been invited to a wedding this summer. They are wonderful events but do take a bit of preparing for. One of the most time-consuming things is getting everyone kitted out in new outfits.
Sometimes it is hard to know where to start. So, today, I thought I would take a little of the strain and put together some wedding outfit ideas for you. They are all based on clothes that are really easy to buy, right now.
A nice dress
Dresses are a great way to quickly put together an outfit. You only have to buy one garment and find the shoes, handbag and other accessories to match.
The good news is that there are plenty of dresses available online and in ordinary shops that are special enough to wear to a wedding. Just be sure to look for one that is made of high-quality material. If you can, go for one that includes silk or lace. These are still viewed as luxury fabrics, so are special enough for a wedding. Dresses with beaded detailing also work particularly well for a wedding.
Jumpsuits
Another all in one wedding guest outfit option is the jumpsuit. Now, this suggestion is not going to be for everyone that is for sure. But, it is a far better idea than you think. There are lots of different cuts available this year. A nice semi-tailored one, worn with a smart jacket, classy shoes, and some bold costume jewelry can work particularly well. It won´t take you long to try one on and see if it is for you or not.
A skirt or trouser suit
Suits also work well for weddings. There are not so many of these around right now, but they are available. Once you have chosen your suit, be sure to buy a high-quality top or blouse. You need to bear in mind that, in the summer, you are likely to end up just wearing the top and trousers or skirt. So, always check what your suit looks like without the jacket.
Hopefully, one of the above suggestions will appeal to you. If not you can go here for more outfit ideas. But, before wrapping this up, I have to mention hats.
Hats – Yes or No?
You may have noticed that hats are back. At the recent marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markel (now Duchess of Sussex), a lot of the guests wore hats. So, you can bet your bottom dollar many more shops will be stocking them, this year. But, bear in mind is that for a society wedding wearing a hat is almost expected. So, while all of the lovely hats the guests wore will get women everywhere thinking about buying one, nobody is going to worry if you decide not to. Should you want to treat yourself to one, I suggest that you take a look at this hat buying and wearing guide.
