Is blogging really a feasible way to make money?

Blogging is often quoted as a very lucrative way to make money in the modern day and age. If you have an online presence, and you update it regularly, you’re going to be able to make a profit off of your efforts, right? Well, it’s not as cut and dry as all that, and there’s a lot of variable factors involved. You need to focus on your SEO efforts, a company like Ignite Digital can help you optimise your site and rank higher – which is what we all want! Pay So, let’s get to know a few of these factors, and see if blogging is as viable a way to make money as we’re often led to believe.

It’s Unlikely That You Won’t Make Money

Most people who have an online presence have made money off of it, even if that money was in small amounts they couldn’t feed their family with. But the point still stands; you’re unlikely to NOT make money, and racketing this up to churning out cash each and every month is key.

Plenty of surveys out there prove that blogs can make money, even if they’re young and have little to no content on them. It’s building up your backlog, and working with the right people, that ensures money comes in in big numbers and on a regular basis. So, keep that in mind!

Get Serious About Advertising

Advertising is something you want to get serious with, if you want to make your blog a viable source of income in your life. After all, if no one knows about your online presence, you’re not going to get very many conversions. For this reason, it’s important to focus on creating a solid digital marketing plan to ensure to get your blog’s name out there. First, you’ll want to secure an easy-to-recognize domain name from somewhere like NameSilo, where you can purchase your new domain through secured payment options like UnionPay. After that, you’ll want to create a logo, consistent branding, and a regular content schedule, before moving onto the nitty gritty of digital marketing – such as sponsorships, influencer partnerships, and SEO.

Similarly, if you don’t use your blog to advertise other products, you’ll have to work off of donations and/or sponsorships alone, and that’s not great for business.

Digital marketing can be a bit of a nightmare to get your head around,  especially if you’re new to all this. It can also be quite time consuming so,  if you are in a position to, I’d definitely suggest you seek advice from companies like Rex Originals to help you get started,

Work Out a Content Strategy

And finally, if you want to build up content, and build up a good speed for your blog, you need to have a content strategy. As a general rule, it’s best to publish once a day at the least, and if you can’t do that, try to aim for once a week. People want consistency, and so do your SEO efforts, and you need to retain audience attention. Content strategies keep you on track, and give you a plan to follow. With a good strategy, you’ll never run out of ideas.

So, is blogging a feasible way to make money? Yes! In more detailed terms, you need to work at it, and you need to know what you’re doing, and never give up on changing the way your blog works to make as much money as possible out of it.
